- Be an active student enrolled at a recognized university or institution
- Provide accurate, verifiable identity and academic information during registration
- Maintain current contact information including valid email and phone number
- Be legally able to enter into contractual obligations in your jurisdiction
Account Responsibilities:
You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account. Creating duplicate accounts, using false credentials, or impersonating other students is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
Note: You must update your profile information promptly whenever details change to maintain account accuracy and receive important notifications.
2. Student Profile and Content Standards
Maintain truthful and professional profile information
All content you submit including personal details, CV, educational background, and skills must be:
- Truthful and accurate in all representations
- Your own authentic work and qualifications
- Reflective of current skills, education, and experience
- Professional and appropriate for employers
Prohibited Representations:
Misrepresenting or falsifying the following will result in account restrictions:
- Academic grades, certifications, or qualifications
- Work history, internships, or professional experience
- Technical skills or software proficiencies
- Personal identity, age, or educational institution
- CV attachments that are not your own or are plagiarized
3. Application and Communication Conduct
Communicate professionally and ethically
When applying for opportunities and communicating on IAMS:
Application Guidelines:
- Submit applications only for opportunities that match your academic level and career goals
- Provide honest, complete responses to application questions
- Do not spam or mass-apply to irrelevant opportunities
- Withdraw applications properly if you are no longer interested
Professional Communication:
You agree to communicate professionally and respectfully with organizations, universities, and other platform users. Prohibited behaviors include:
- Harassment, threats, or abusive language
- Spam, repeated unwanted messages, or solicitation
- Sexual harassment or inappropriate content
- Uploading viruses, malware, or harmful files
- Sharing other students' personal information without consent
4. Platform Access and Security
Protect your account and maintain security
Your Security Responsibilities:
- Create a strong, unique password that you don't share with anyone
- Never provide your login credentials to others, even platform staff
- Log out when using shared computers or devices
- Monitor your account for unauthorized activity
- Report suspicious activity immediately to support
Unauthorized Access:
If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, immediately reset your password and contact platform support. We are not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access if adequate security precautions were not taken by you.
Tip: Enable two-factor authentication on your account for enhanced security protection.
5. Opportunity Information and Personal Responsibility
You make informed decisions about opportunities
While IAMS applies content moderation controls:
- Opportunities are posted by third-party organizations
- You remain responsible for evaluating opportunity legitimacy and suitability
- Research organizations independently before accepting placements
- Clarify terms, working conditions, and expectations directly with the organization
- Verify compliance with labor laws in your country
Important: IAMS is not responsible for opportunity details, working conditions, or the conduct of organizations. Always conduct due diligence before committing to any attachment.
6. Account Restrictions and Termination
Understand enforcement actions
IAMS may restrict, suspend, or terminate student accounts for:
Policy Violations
Breaching any section of these terms or platform policies
Fraudulent Activity
False information, fake credentials, or identity misrepresentation
Abusive Behavior
Harassment, harassment, spam, or threatening communications
Platform Misuse
Actions intended to disrupt service, hack, or undermine platform integrity
Legal Violations
Activities that violate applicable laws or regulations
Appeal Process:
If your account is restricted or terminated, you may appeal the decision through the platform support system within 14 days of notification.
7. Intellectual Property and Content Rights
Understand ownership of content
By uploading content to IAMS:
- You retain ownership of your CV, profile content, and original work
- You grant IAMS a license to display and share your information with target organizations
- Organizations may use your application information for placement evaluation only
- You may not upload content you don't have rights to (including plagiarized materials)
IAMS does not claim ownership of your personal documents and information. You can request deletion of your content upon account closure.
8. Limitation of Liability and Term Updates

IAMS is provided "as is" without warranties. The platform:
- Does not guarantee placement outcomes or opportunity quality
- Is not responsible for organizational conduct after application
- May experience downtime, data loss, or service interruptions
- Does not provide legal, financial, or career advice
Term Updates:
These terms may be updated periodically to reflect:
- New platform features and functionality
- Changes in legal or regulatory requirements
- Enhanced security and privacy standards
- Operational improvements
